The Grande Rousses for Skiing
and Snowboarding
The Grandes Rousses, including
Alpe d'Huez,
Vaujany,
Oz-en-Oisans,
Auris-en-Oisans,
Villard-Reculas covers
10,000 hectares, with approximately 800 for alpine skiing.
With a 2,230 m of vertical drop (from 3330m at the top of
the Pic Blanc to 1100m at the Enversin d'Oz, the area has
123 marked pistes and include 17 black,
36 red,
32 blue and 38 green
and also a piste for
night skiing/boarding, and 2 special areas for beginners.

86 ski lifts:
6 cable cars, 10 gondola lifts, 25 chair lifts, 40 ski
tows, 2 lifts and 3 carpets and 2 snowparks, a boardercross and half-pipe, and a
permanent sledging area.
Oh and just as importantly 300 days of sunshine per year
and a great record of snowfall.
All of which are accessible with the same 6 day pass.
