Fishing in the Oisans region

With it's altitude lakes, fast-flowing mountain streams and rivers, Oisans is definitely water orientated.  A number of accessible rivers are packed with trout, yet the fast flowing mountain rivers can make fishing them true sport!

The lakes are not to be outdone, in Lac Besson at Alpe d'Huez you will find trout and charfish, and also at Lac du Plan in Les Deux Alpes and in the Eau d'Olle valley.

The Rive in Bourg d'Oisans is one of the purest rivers in France and has a fly-fishing stretch for enthusiasts of this sport.
