Summer Events in the Oisans Region

In July this year the Oisans host spectacular mountain bike competitions such as the Megavalanche - the world longest MTB downhill race, starting on the Alpe d'Huez glacier and finishing 30 km and 2 800 metres further down, in the centre of the village of Allemont, and the Mountain of Hell in Les Deux Alps.

The Tour de France frequently passes through the town, and does so again in July this year. Also every July The Marmotte sportive is held in the area.
