Les Deux Alpes Mountain biking

Les Deux Alpes is famous for two mountain bike events the Mondial Du VTT and the Mountain of Hell. The Ski lifts open from mid June until the end of August and we will spend at least one day of your holiday in this area.

Les Deux Alpes has the following to offer....

• 31 marked routes of which we choose the best ones for you to ride - often joining up two or three trails too make a mammoth day out in the mountains
• 5 cross-country routes
• 26 downhill routes
• 3 permanent downhill runs
• 2500 metres of downhill vertical drop from 3200 metres down to 780 metres altitude (Bourg d'Oisans our base) served by 10 ski lifts.
• Wooden ramps (beginner to expert level) and a bike park.
• A 6 day lift pass is approximately 70 euros for the week.

Marco Pantani Memorial Cycling Sportive

In tribute to Marco Pantini there is a 164 km Cycle Sportive from Le Freney d'Oisans to Les Deux Alpes takes place every year in August. The event takes in the Col d'Ornon , Col de Parquetout and the Alpe du Grande Serre before finishing at the top of Les Deux Alpes.
